Giving back

Giving back to non-profit animal organizations and helping rescue and shelter dogs through photography

As much as possible, I donate my time, talent and efforts to select charitable and non-profit animal organizations whose values I believe in and support.

  • I currently volunteer as a dog and cat photographer for the Etobicoke Humane Society in Toronto.

  • I have worked in collaboration with the Canadian Kennel Club Foundation, providing images for their fundraising campaigns.

  • On behalf of Beagle Freedom Project I photographed 2 dogs who were rescued from a meat market in China and brought to Toronto to find homes as loving pets

  • In April of 2022 I was thrilled to be one of 50 pet photographers from around the globe who participated in the Tails of the World mini sessions to raise funds for local charities helping dogs in need. The photographs from these sessions will be published in a beautiful coffee table book entitled “Tails of the World: The Book”. I raised $1000 for Toronto based dog rescue organization, Just Paws Animal Rescue.

  • In 2024 I was again selected to participate in the Tails of the World project representing Toronto’s East End, specifically Scarborough.

As a member of HeARTs Speak, an international nonprofit organization that is uniting art and advocacy to increase the visibility of shelter animals, I am always more than happy to offer pro-bono sessions for shelter pets.

If you are an animal shelter or dog rescue organization located in the Toronto area, please feel free to contact me regarding photography sessions for your shelter animals.
