Why this is the year for a Professional Pet Photo Shoot

This year every pet owner’s New Year resolution should be to get a professional pet photo shoot!

We are now into our 3rd year of the pandemic and living in Toronto, a city that has suffered some of the longest and most restrictive lock downs, has proven one thing - it is family that is so important to us, that gets us through the tough times! Who is one of the most important family members?  Our pets of course.

That is probably why we have seen a surge in what has come to be known as “Covid Puppies”.  People have longed for companionship and emotional bonds during these times and our pets have certainly provided that for us.

Hopefully one day this pandemic will be a thing of the past and we will go on with our lives as we remember them.  But how will we remember the love, warmth and companionship that was provided us by our beloved pets?  And what will we have to remind us of those emotions?

Yes, you may have hundreds of cell phone photos of your furry friends, but those aren’t the photos that you’re going to want to print and frame. Most of them are blurry, poorly lit and full of distractions.

What a professional pet photo shoot can do.

A professional pet photo shoot can provide you with high quality images that give rise to your emotions. When your dog’s eyes sparkle and the lighting and framing enhances their unique details, that is the art of a professional pet photographer.

You might take some great photos, but do they have the professional touch to them that you will definitely get with the training, equipment, and experience that a professional pet photographer can provide?

Do you have sharp action shots, cute poses and your dog’s unique expressions perfectly captured so that they look great framed on your wall or printed in an album? Is the image quality good enough for enlargements?

Are your dog or cat photos enhanced by removing eye goop, removing your dog’s leash, removing people  and other distractions in the background, enhancing the colours and eyes, and more?

Why you need a professional pet photo shoot with your pet

  1. Professional photos have the ability to reconnect you with special moments, creating keepsakes that will help you to remember and tell the story of your life.

  2. Perhaps more importantly, you will have photos showing the love between yourself and your pet when you jump into the frame! I bet you don’t have too many photos of yourself or your family together with your pet?

  3. You’ll need someone to capture those special moments for you and those will be the memories that you will look back on during your pet’s life and when they are no longer with you.

You need photos showing the bond between you and your dog! You can’t do this for yourself.

  • Yes it’s sad, but animals don’t last forever.  You wish they did, but they will pass on some day and then what will you have? Hundreds of photos on your cell phone,  but none that reflect the quality that you can get with the expertise of professional pet photographer.

  • For some people pet photography may seem a luxury, but once you capture those special moments with your dog, you’ll have them forever and will realize how precious they are.

  • We all look at our photos from time to time when we feel nostalgic and need a smile, when we want to show our friends, family, kids or grandkids pictures of what is important to us.

  • Photos preserve a moment in time and memories that tell the story of our lives. And cats and dogs are a huge part of our lives. They share every day with us and are very much our family, our comfort and joy!

It is time to document some special moments with your pets. And this is where I can help! If you are in the Greater Toronto Area, this is the year to contact me for a complimentary consultation to discuss your professional pet photo shoot!
