The Colour Green in Nature and Wildlife Photography

Here is a beautiful cat that I photographed, all ready with his green toy, for St.Patricks day! But that’s it for pet photography this week

While I am enjoying the warm weather in South Florida and taking a break from the cold Toronto winter,  I haven’t had the opportunity to do any dog photography this week.

So I decided to focus on wildlife for this week’s pet project theme which is “green”.  What better place to photograph wildlife than Florida? It is a haven for so many types of wildlife, in particular birds, iguanas and of course alligators!

When I think of green I think of nature. To me green is the colour of nature - aside from vegetation, there is green to be found in animals and birds as well.

Here are some images of wildlife, either surrounded by green vegetation or sporting the colour green themselves.

While I enjoy wildlife photography immensely, it is dog photography that is my passion! You can learn more about me here…
